This tribe provides information about the Cure Salee performance at the SCA's Pennsic War. We're a group friends who have been dancing and playing around the fires at Pennsic for longer than we care to remember. Over the years, we took the joy we found in Middle Eastern dance and music at Pennsic home with us and became serious students of our arts, and performers. Each year we return to Pennsic to play and dance together once more, and we come together for the Cure Salee to share our enjoyment of Middle Eastern music and dance with you!

Our event is named after a North African festival which happens during the rainy season each year, when the nomadic peoples of the area gather their herds to graze. A lot of celebrations occur during this time, and we feel that our performance is held in a similar spirit, celebrating the coming together of like-minded people, from all over our continent.
